A beautiful 16th century gatehouse with exceptional character. Very good facilities and excellent location to explore this part of Galloway.

The history of the home and being part of it for a moment in time.
Downstairs was dark even with lighting and would have liked to use the tv in that space as it had a beautiful big fireplace which I decided not to use because the tv was in a difficult spot. There is a nice sitting room space with an extra tv but no fireplace in but the home is still warm and cosy. Wifi didn’t work the best..
